Team Giant-Shimano, Team Europcar, FDJ.fr en Lampre-Merida zijn de vier ontbrekende WorldTour-ploegen tijdens Dwars door Vlaanderen 2014. Naast de veertien ploegen van het hoogste niveau zijn ook acht ProContinentale ploegen aanwezig in de 69 editie van deze Vlaamse voorjaarsklassieker. Vorig jaar was Oscar Gatto voor Vini Fantini de beste in barre weersomstandigheden.
