Vuelta 2015: Volg hier de vijfde etappe
De vijfde etappe van de Vuelta a España, een 167 kilometer lange rit van Rota naar Alcalá de Guadaíra, lijkt er eentje voor de sprinters te worden. Omdat de kansen voor de snelle mannen deze ronde op de vingers van één hand te tellen zijn, zullen hun ploeggenoten de traditionele vluchtgroep niet te ver weg willen laten lopen.
Het startschot wordt gegeven om 13.36 uur. Tussen 17.29 en 17.53 weten we wie de rit heeft gewonnen en of Esteban Chaves nog altijd de rode trui om zijn schouders heeft.
Sporza en Eurosport komen vanaf 16.00 uur met live-beelden vanuit de koers. De etappe is ook te volgen via NOS.nl.

Volgens eurosport france maakt degenkolb een gedegen kans vandaag, nog beetje geduld dus.
Jasper Stuyven: "The team is going to ride for me today. We looked at the finish and it's pretty hard, probably too hard for Danny (Van Poppel). I'm the kind of sprinter who likes a tough finish in the Degenkolb type. If we manage to have a train in the finale, I will be led out by Popo(vych), Boy and Danny. My form has been good since the Eneco Tour and it's been going well since."
Danny Van Poppel: "I was not in great shape for the last couple of days because of the heat. So we decided the stage was for Stuyven as the finale is pretty hard. I've felt better since this morning when I can feed properly again. I hope the condition returns so that I can have my chance but there aren't many sprints on this Vuelta and they're all hard. I had a look at the book and maybe the stage to Murcia is the one that would suit me best."
