Welke renners en stafleden zijn beboet met een gele kaart en staan op scherp in 2025?

Overzicht Sinds 1 januari 2025 is dankzij SafeR – het veiligheidsorgaan binnen het wielrennen bestaande uit de UCI, AIOCC (vereniging van wedstrijdorganisatoren), AIGCP (vereniging van profploegen) en de CPA (rennersvakbond) – de gele kaart geïntroduceerd in het wielrennen. Die straf kunnen ze krijgen na een van de 31 aanwijsbare fouten die renners en staf in een koers kunnen maken. WielerFlits zet de betrokkenen met een gele kaart op en rij én in hoeverre ze op scherp staan.

Wat zijn de regels?

Voor renners en staf met een gele kaart op zak, kunnen er nog zwaardere straffen bijkomen. Die zien er per 1 januari 2025 als volgt uit:

2 gele kaarten in één eendagskoers of in één rittenkoers: diskwalificatie + 7 dagen schorsing (die begint een dag na laatste gele kaart)
3 gele kaarten in een periode van 30 dagen: 14 dagen schorsing (die begint een dag na laatste gele kaart)
6 gele kaarten in een periode van 1 jaar: 30 dagen schorsing (die begint een dag na laatste gele kaart)
