Dat is correct, en dan wel de jongste.
“Andy Schleck has been loitering around the Tour de France starts and it reminded me of a story I heard about him that always makes its way around the peloton when his name comes up.
Back in 2011 Andy took a massive solo win on the Galibier and set himself up to take the yellow jersey from Voeckler. It was a super impressive ride. Andy was a magnificent talent, and he was also simply an overgrown kid. All he ever wanted was to be part of the gang.
The next day up Alpe d’Huez Andy took the yellow jersey from Voeckler and as always, the entire village at the top was a massive party. In particular, there was a chateau full of Luxembourgers celebrating Andy’s yellow jersey that he just couldn’t stay away from. He was out all night on a massive bender and was the most popular man in the room.
The next day was the time trial in Grenoble where he lost the jersey to Cadel by a minute and a half. Go figure. Maybe he knew he wouldn’t have a chance, but he put in a pretty solid performance for having a hangover! Would he have won that Tour de France? We’ll never know.”
